A DNS health report is the fastest way to audit the complete DNS configuration for any domain. It checks every critical record type: nameservers (NS), Start of Authority (SOA), mail servers (MX), IPv4 and IPv6 addresses (A/AAAA), TXT records, and the email authentication trio of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC. Each record is tested against best practices, and the report flags common misconfigurations like single-point-of-failure nameservers, missing email authentication, unresolvable MX records, and missing www records.
Enter a domain name and click "Run DNS Report." The tool queries DNS servers for every major record type and displays the results in categorized sections with color-coded health badges. Green means the check passed, yellow means there is a potential issue worth reviewing, and red means something is missing or misconfigured. The summary at the bottom gives you a quick overall score.
The most commonly missed DNS configurations are email authentication records. SPF tells mail servers which IPs can send email for your domain, and DMARC tells them what to do when a message fails authentication. Without both, your emails are more likely to be flagged as spam or spoofed by phishers. If you see warnings about nameserver diversity, it means all your NS records point to the same network. If that network goes down, your entire domain becomes unreachable. Using nameservers on at least two different networks is a simple safeguard.
